Aikido

A traditional Japanese martial art with the goal of peacefully and effectively neutralizing confrontation through joint locks, throws, and pins. Weapons employed are the bo, jo, and bokken.

Modern Arnis

An ecletic, practical, and complete Filipino martial art that employs double-stick, single-stick, stick-and-knife, knife, and empty-hand fighting, as well as the use of strikes, kicks, grappling, groundfighting, joint locks, throws, and disarms.

Women’s Self-Defense

Women are welcome in all of our classes at the HMAC, and exclusively so in our acclaimed Women’s Self-Defense seminars.

Youth Programs

Youth programs in Aikido and Arnis de Mano build positive traits such as discipline, courtesy, and self-confidence. In addition, our nationally recognized Escape School provides groups of children information to decrease their chances of being abducted.
